Time going by fast is a good thing, actually.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I had an epiphany. It happened after I started my new routine. When I would be at the point where I had done everything I needed to during the day, and started winding down about an hour or two before bedtime, I had a thought of … “that’s it?” It was a really weird feeling that I hadn’t ever had before, and at first, it felt kinda bad. But, it isn’t a bad thing, as long as you balance things well.

Initially, I felt a little too caught up in the rat race, and wasn’t really taking any time to simply indulge in stuff outside of my daily schedule. After I started using weekends and such to have fun, this hasn’t been an issue. Anyways, I think this epiphany came on because I realize that all of my goals simply take time, and while there are weekly goals that you can look for, it’s really hard for me to set daily goals. So, I think now I’ve broken away from the habit of gauging my decisions off of how “happy” I am at the end of the day. Rather, I think it’s better that you take a step back, think of what you want, make decisions to get there, and see if you’re satisfied at the end of the day. If you’re not, maybe you aren’t doing the things you want to do.

That’s all, cya.
