Recently, I’ve been having significantly more success in every single facet of my life, and while some of it is success I’ve felt before and just more significant this time around, some of it is really jarring to me.

It’s been a goal of mine for at least the past 4 years to get out of Texas, and work in California. During university, I came extremely close to this opportunity once, but because of my lack of persistent interview prep, I failed at the last second. But, I’ve been consistently doing at least one LC problem a day, as well as applying to any single place that pays well, especially if they’re in a cool state, for over a month now, and I’m not stopping anytime soon. Now, what does that have to do with recent successes? Well, I’ve struggled to get first round interviews in the past, most likely due to me not being good at applying on time. Recently, I’ve managed to bag 2 amazing interviews in a single month, and while one of them ended up not getting past team matching, the other went amazing, and we’ll see what happens with that.

Passing or failing the interviews aside, it’s surreal to think that, this whole time, simple consistency made all the difference. At this point, this next goal is easily in my reach, and I will have to just keep it up, even if I run into another devastating failure.

Wild stuff. That’s it for now, cya.
